Are you interested in connecting with a dynamic, growing organisation making a positive difference? Research Assistant to Nina Sunday
'I feel fortunate to have been part of Brainpower Training. Not only is the company innovative, professional and technologically advanced, working there is also fun.
'I’m in my gap year between HSC and Uni. I’ll be off travelling Europe from end of June.
'Other members of the team – 6 of us at different times - make me feel like a valued member of the team, despite my having minimal previous office experience.
About the role
'The Research Assistant works closely with Nina Sunday, our Founder and Managing Director. She has won an award for innovation and learning and is highly-respected among her peers.
'Ensuring our clients find the best training solution for their goals and outcomes, then delivering a training solution to match, is how we operate.
'They might want to create a high-performing team, be more efficient and productive, perhaps even resolve team conflict and issues. It’s important work. We’re making a difference.
'Most days I spend a few hours on the phone doing market research with clients whose companies have done training with us in the past or have requested information. Most people appreciate how we keep in regular contact, every 3 months or so.
'Recently we needed to order more squeeze balls, a gift to every participant. Rather than re-order the same, I was responsible for the re-ordering and artwork approval for a brain-shaped squeeze ball with our logo; (an improvement on a simple round white ball.)
'We have what we call, ‘Multimedia Fridays’ when we focus on video, PowerPoint or webinar product development. Some weekends I’ve assisted on a video shoot of Nina Sunday for our video-based training.
'Perhaps I can put it down to Brainpower Training’s systems, procedures and checklists that I got up to speed quickly. I feel as if I’m achieving something. I feel an enormous sense of satisfaction.
'Whoever takes my place when I go travelling . . . well all I can say is, they can consider themselves lucky to have landed this role.' NOW to: support@brainpowertraining.com.au
